“The newly-released data from the Anti-Defamation League’s (ADL) 2024 Annual Audit of Antisemitic Incidents is tragic, unacceptable, and once again, record-breaking. The Audit tabulated a record 9,354 antisemitic incidents across the United States by the ADL last year – a 5% increase year over year and the highest number on record since ADL began tracking antisemitic incidents 46 years ago. This continued surge in antisemitism further represents a 344% increase over the annual average for the past five years and a 893% increase over the annual average for the past 10 years.
“This shocking report is yet another harsh reminder that antisemitism is not contained to campus life, but has spread throughout our entire society. We must unite to address this unacceptable, un-American hate head on.
“As Co-Chairs of the House Bipartisan Task Force for Combating Antisemitism, we will continue our bipartisan efforts to engage, educate, and legislate. We cannot let antisemitism become the norm. We urge all of our colleagues to condemn this increasing problem.”
