New Yorkers deserve affordable, safe and reliable housing. Congressman Goldman is fighting for more and better housing, and to ensure that everyone can live with respect and dignity in their home.
New York’s 10th Congressional District is home to over two dozen public housing developments as a part of the largest public housing authority in the country, NYCHA. Congressman Goldman is working tirelessly to ensure just and equitable treatment for public housing tenants and to get NYCHA the federal support it needs to serve hundreds of thousands of New Yorkers. The Congressman is also fighting to expand and preserve the Housing Choice Voucher Program, Section 8, while supporting those utilizing Section 8.

Public Housing Emergency Response Act to allocate $70 billion in funding for public housing capital repairs and upgrades throughout the country – $32 billion of the allotted aid would be expected to flow directly to the New York City Housing Authority
Congressman Goldman is a member of the Renters Caucus.
