Congressman Dan Goldman joined Congresswoman Becca Balint (VT-AL) in sending a letter to President Trump to call out his reckless attempt to end access to life saving care for transgender young people.

Trump’s executive order against life-saving health care for trans youth is one of many anti-trans measures the Trump Administration has taken since January. The executive orders include removing trans servicemembers from the military and banning trans students from participating in school sports. The Trump Administration has also taken steps to erase trans Americans from history including by erasing the word ‘trans’ from federal websites.

Congressman Goldman is committed to protecting the rights of all Americans, regardless of their background and free from hate. In June 2023, the Congressman cosponsored the ‘Equality Act,’ which would provide consistent and explicit non-discrimination protections for LGBTQIA+ people across key areas of life, including employment, housing, credit, education, public spaces and services, federally funded programs, and jury service.
