Washington, D.C. – Congressman Dan Goldman (NY-10) and Senators Charles Schumer (D-NY) and Kirsten Gillibrand (D-NY) today announced a $2 million federal Reconnecting Communities grant for New York City to transform the underutilized space underneath the Brooklyn Bridge. The project – Arches Plaza: Restoring the Community Fabric Under the Brooklyn Bridge – will connect several diverse and long-separated neighborhoods in Manhattan.

Washington, DC – Congressman Dan Goldman (NY-10) today condemned House Republican’s rejection of a bipartisan budget bill that would have delivered $4.2 billion in disaster relief to New York State, ensured health care access for 9/11 first responders and survivors through the World Trade Center Health Program until 2040, extended New York State’s ability to refund victims of SNAP fraud using federal dollars, and prompted new safety standards for the lithium-ion batteries used in e-bikes and e-scooters.

New York, NY – Congressman Dan Goldman (NY-10) yesterday joined the African Burial Ground Memorial Foundation (ABGMF), the U.S. National Park Service, and the Department of the Interior to announce their newly established Philanthropic Partnership Agreement, which enables the ABGMF to provide resources and support towards maintaining and operating the site. This announcement follows a letter written by Congressman Goldman’s office in support of the ABGMF’s application of 501(c)(3) nonprofit tax status, which was a prerequisite for entering the partnership.

New York, NY – Congressman Dan Goldman (NY-10) today presented Henry Street Settlement with a $2,175,000 Community Project Funding Grant Award, which was included in the final passage of HR 4366, ‘The Consolidated Appropriations Act of 2024.’ Goldman secured $9,036,948 for community projects in NY-10 in the FY 2024 appropriations process.
