Washington, DC – Congressman Dan Goldman (NY-10) today released an updated list of 20 Jewish Members of Congress who joined a statement on the cynical Republican proposal to pit American support for global democracy and key American allies on $14 billion of funding cuts to the Internal Revenue Service.

Washington, D.C. – Congressman Dan Goldman (NY-10), Senator Michael Bennet (D-CO), Senator Lisa Murkowski (R-AK), and Congresswoman Maria Salazar (FL-27) today introduced the bipartisan ‘Children’s Court Act’ to combat the immigration court backlog and strengthen due process rights for children.

Washington, DC – Congressman Dan Goldman (NY-10) joined House Gun Violence Prevention Task Force Chair Rep. Mike Thompson (CA-04), Speaker Emerita Nancy Pelosi (CA-11), and 89 other Task Force members in a letter urging Speaker of the House of Representatives Mike Johnson to address the gun violence crisis in America. 

“The heartbreaking shooting in Lewiston, Maine, is a devastating reminder of the epidemic of gun violence. 18 innocent lives were stolen and 13 others were injured by a mass shooter. People were bowling with their families, out to dinner, or simply at work and were faced with a barrage of bullets.

“It has been nearly three weeks since Hamas savagely attacked Israel, killing more than 1,400 Israelis and abducting more than 200 civilians as hostages inside Gaza – including American citizens. We condemn Hamas’s war crimes and its heinous, inhuman attacks on civilians, which have continued with rocket fire targeted at Israeli civilians and the war crime of holding innocent civilians hostage.  We stand with the Israeli people and all those who have relatives, friends, and colleagues impacted by this tragedy, and we call on Hamas to release the hostages immediately.

Washington, DC – Congressman Dan Goldman (NY-10) joined Senator Patty Murray (D-WA), Senator Tammy Baldwin (D-WI) and Congressman Mark Pocan (WI-02) in introducing the ‘Tyler Clementi Higher Education Anti-Harassment Act’ to require colleges and universities receiving federal support to establish written anti-harassment policies to prohibit harassment based on actual or perceived race, color, national origin, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, disability, or religion.
