Democracy and Voting Rights

The rising tide of authoritarianism and extremist overreach threaten the core American values of democracy and freedom. A functioning democracy is critical to protecting our freedoms and fundamental rights and to ensure that every American has a voice. Congressman Goldman is committed to serving as a leading voice in the House of Representatives to protect and expand voting rights, to combat threats to our democratic values, and to create a binding code of ethics for the Supreme Court.

Congressman Goldman has introduced:

  • Early Voting Act to require at least a 14-day window of in-person early voting for federal elections across the country

  • Supreme Court Ethics and Investigations Act to establish a dedicated investigative body within the Supreme Court that would provide transparency and accountability through exhaustive investigations into alleged ethical improprieties and reports to Congress on its findings

Congressman Dan Goldman is a member of the Task Force for Strengthening Democracy, the Voting Rights Caucus, the Court Reform Now Task Force, and the Stop Project 2025 Task Force.
