Washington, D.C. – Congressman Dan Goldman (NY-10) joined Ranking Member of the Committee on Homeland Security, Bennie G. Thompson (MS-2) and other Homeland Democrats in sending a letter to Office of Personnel Management (OPM) demanding more information on the impact President Trump’s hiring freeze will have on the Federal government’s cybersecurity workforce.
Since taking office, the Trump-Vance Administration has issued a flurry of Executive Orders impacting everything from funding for nonprofits to birthright citizenship and immigration status.

Washington, D.C. – Congressman Dan Goldman (NY-10), alongside his Democratic Homeland Security Committee colleagues, sent a letter to the Acting Director of the Office of Management and Budget (OMB), Matthew Vaeth demanding that the Trump Administration follow all relevant federal data protection laws after it was revealed this week that Elon Musk and DOGE have exceeded their authority and may have violated numerous federal laws with grave national security consequences.

Congressman Dan Goldman joined Senator Tina Smith (D-MN) and Congresswoman Lauren Underwood (IL-14) in introducing the ‘Job Protection Act,’ which would expand the Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA) to millions of workers who are currently unable to take time off to care for themselves or their families. Nearly 2.6 million workers every year decline to take family or medical leave out of fear that they will lose their jobs due to gaps in FMLA coverage.
