New York, NY – Congressman Dan Goldman (NY-10) today presented Henry Street Settlement with a $2,175,000 Community Project Funding Grant Award, which was included in the final passage of HR 4366, ‘The Consolidated Appropriations Act of 2024.’ Goldman secured $9,036,948 for community projects in NY-10 in the FY 2024 appropriations process.

Washington, DC – Congressman Dan Goldman (NY-10) joined Congressmembers Sharice Davids (KS-03) and Nydia Velázquez (NY-07) in introducing the 'Women’s Business Centers Improvement Act,' which reauthorizes and improves upon the Women’s Business Center Program. The Women’s Business Center Program, originally authorized in 1988, was created to increase access to resources and opportunities for women entrepreneurs.

Washington, DC – Congressman Dan Goldman (NY-10) joined Congresswoman Robin Kelly (IL-02) and Congressman Troy Balderson (OH-12) in introducing the ‘Protecting Seniors from Emergency Scams Act,’ which directs the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) to create a web portal allowing consumers to search for scams by region and access contact information for law enforcement and adult protective service agencies. It also instructs the FTC to collaborate with media outlets and law enforcement agencies to disseminate this information to seniors and their caregivers.

New York, NY – Congressman Dan Goldman (NY-10) today celebrated the House’s passage of the bipartisan Water Resources Development Act (WRDA) of 2024 which includes key funding and policies to improve New York’s climate resiliency efforts. Congressman Goldman successfully secured language in the bill that mandates the United States Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) perform a New York-New Jersey Harbor and Tributaries Focus Area Feasibility Study (HATS) that addresses the variety of flooding threats facing New York City including tidal and river flooding, heavy rainfall, groundwater emergence, erosion, and sea level rise.

Washington, D.C. – Congressman Dan Goldman (NY-10) joined Congresswoman Deborah Ross (NC-02) in introducing the bipartisan ‘America's CHILDREN Act’ to provide lawful permanent resident status for certain college graduates who entered the United States as children and were dependents of individuals with work visas. This bill aims to provide legal protections to children who, because they have maintained a legal status throughout their lives, are ineligible for protections from the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program.
